DJays 4u has come along way, let me tell you our story…
From a young age, our managing director has always had a love for music. This love was inspired by his father’s vast records collection which included gospel, soul, soca and reggae. Deon was 10 years of age when he found a keen interest in both Mcing and DJing. Purchasing second hand equipment with his birthday money, he managed to compile a small setup consisting of turntables CD players and speakers. This enabled him to practice at home and do small birthday parties for friends and locals in the community. This kept Deon off the streets as he perfected his skills and really focused on his passion for music. Elders with sound systems and professional DJ equipment allowed Deon the opportunity to observe and practice his mixes along with his friends, this was a great chance to share musical knowledge, socialise and have fun.
The story goes on…
Deon then went on to rapping and DJing at small events around the North West. Following this he then began organising his own nights, promoting his school mates charging £3 entry, with gatherings of over 150 people which were a massive success and still remembered by all. College parties and private functions then followed, which are still to this day memorable and some of the best times Oldham has seen. With an increasing reputation as one of the best DJ’s for RNB, Dancehall, Rap & Chart music, he soon became the number one choice for both private and corporate bookings throughout the North West. Promoters, and club managers would contact Deon wanting him to bring the “Party Vibe”, which meant a huge following of people along with ‘Big Money’ being taken behind the tills. At one time, Deon was working every weekend in various bars sometimes until 3am in his home town of Oldham, alongside working a part time job and studying.
Deon to become ‘Mr Roach’
The time came for Deon to become ‘Mr Roach’, which included establishing DJays 4u supplying the best Manchester DJays, live performers, equipment supplies and event management to some of the most lavish parties, corporate events and wedding venues across the UK. DJays 4u established themselves as a household name amongst local venues, bars and clubs which regularly utilise our services for any desired purpose. We have also performed abroad invited by our partners in both Paris and Turkey which has extended our client base, experience and business credentials. We are constantly reinventing ourselves to stay ahead of our competitors with our vast range of professional services, valued reputation and industry expertise. We value all of our clients who have now become part of our family, we have a high volume of repeat customers who recommend our services and promote the business via social media.
